ASK AARON - December 2001 Answer

From Sandi, OH

I just got an offer to be in a hair show, but they need me to cut my long hair. I really like to wear my hair long. However, they will pay me $200. Should I cut my hair?

Dear Sandi:

I think it is very important to listen to your thoughts and needs. If cutting your hair would be a real problem for you, then you need to listen to yourself and do what is best for you. You might want to talk with your agent about whether your long hair is preventing you from getting work. If so, and you really want to work, then maybe it is time to cut your hair. It is totally your call.
