How do you get signed with a major modeling agency like Elite? Can that be achieved by contacting local agencies?

Dear Allison:

In the fashion world you can simply send snapshots of yourself to the agencies. Along with seeing you in bathing suit shots, (close up and distant shot so your entire body can be seen), your height, age and weight are also needed. Make sure you have your name and contact number on the photos. If they are interested, they will contact you. In the commercial modeling field, it is best to start off with creating great commercial shots and then find representation with a local agent. You can learn all of this by reading my book, How to Become a Successful Commercial Model.
