Several months ago I had headshots done. My musical theatre teacher told me that I should demand all the proofs and negatives from the photographer because I paid for them. The photographer says that he owns the negatives and that I should contact him if I ever need additional prints produced. Who is correct?

Can I have two agents representing me in the LA market?

Dear Alana:

I believe you will run into a problem having two agents in LA unless they are representing you in different areas. Like for instance, one agent could be for commercial work only, and the other for feature film and television. There are some areas outside of LA where it is possible to have multiple agents for the same type of work, but when you are first getting started, I would advise you to start with one agent.
