ASK AARON - July 2006 Answer

“I attended your boot camp on June 26. I cannot tell you how much I learned from you that weekend. Your two day event was excellent and gave me the information I needed to take a four year college education in the arts and finally move it to the next level. Getting started is almost impossible especially when you don't know which doors to knock on and which ones not to. I wish you continued success and thank you again for the invaluable information you shared. The handouts alone were worth the cost of the workshop.”

From Alana, IL

I'm going to an open call for Ford Models in Chicago this week, What should I expect? More importantly, what are some questions I should ask? Any suggestions on what to wear? Any advice on do's and dont's?

Dear Alana:

That is wonderful that you are getting this opportunity. There are a few things that I would suggest. Make sure you are on time. Wear clothing that fits your “type.” You can ask the agent about the types of jobs they would consider submitting you for? Ask them for feed back on your photos. Make sure you bring some pictures.

Bring a pen and paper to take notes. Turn your cell phone off. Just be yourself, look people in the eye and shake their hands with confidence.

Most importantly, have a good time.
