“Aaron Marcus' book, How To Become A Successful Commercial Model, is a fantastic guide for anyone looking to enter this field with all the tools and knowledge necessary to compete. From acquiring the best-looking headshots and resumes to finding a reputable agent, you will find straightforward answers to many of the questions you have about the world of commercial modeling. Aaron also gives extremely helpful examples of actual composite cards and the benefit of Aaron's own experience within the industry, in which he has clearly had a great deal of success. Since buying the book, I have started attending go-sees for commercial modeling myself and I can't imagine not having the book. It has become such a valuable reference.”

From Alan Richards, DC

I am 62 years old and have always thought about modeling. Is this a crazy idea, or is there any work for someone my age?

Dear Alan Richards:

Actually there is work for you as a commercial model. When you look in any non-fashion magazine you will see people of all ages in the ads. There will not be as many opportunities for you as someone in their 30’s, but there is definitely work for you. The trick is creating the right photos. You want the pictures to look like real ads, and show a variety of expressions and emotions. You can learn exactly how to get these photos and even have them take free by reading my book, How to Become a Successful Commercial Model.
