Living in Kuala Lumpur we tend to allow double the travel time + 20 minutes for auditions between 10a - 4p and up to 3 hours for traffic jam hours (8a-10a and 4:30p - 6:30p). Because Dazjah is a child, I always look up where the place is on GPS/Google maps and find a coffee house, deli, groccery with deli, or similar place that is nearby. That way, we can access public parking, bathroom, snack, table & chairs to review items, etc. if we are really early. Also, it works out well to tell my daughter that we can stop in for a quick snack or cold drink after the audition if she keeps up her good attitude and focus for the audition. Kind of a "give it your best" incentive.
